How to Change Your AI Model in Hypertask

There are two convenient ways to change your AI model in Hypertask, depending on whether you want to set a default model for your team or make a temporary selection for a single session.

Method 1: Setting Default AI Model for Your Team via Custom Instructions

  • Navigate to HTC (Hypertask Configuration)

  • Select AI Custom Instructions

  • Use the dropdown menu to select your preferred AI model

This setting becomes the default model for your entire team's board.

Method 2: Temporary AI Model Selection

For Mac users: ⌘ J
For Windows users: Ctrl+J

You can use these shortcuts while in:

  • Task description field

  • Comment field

After pressing the shortcut, use the dropdown menu to select your desired AI model.

Important Notes

  • The AI model selected through HTC becomes the default for your entire team

  • Changes made using the keyboard shortcut are temporary:

    • Only apply to the current session

    • Will revert to the team's default model on next use

    • Perfect for one-off AI model adjustments
