Troubleshooting Email Login (Magic Link)

How Email Login Works
Hypertask uses a passwordless login system. When you choose to log in with your email address:
Enter your email address on the login page
We send you a magic link or one-time code to that email
Click the link or enter the code to log in
There is no password - the email itself serves as your authentication.
Login Methods in Hypertask
Hypertask offers two ways to log in:
Email login (Magic Link): Enter your email, receive a link/code, click to log in
Google/Workspace login: Click "Sign in with Google" to use your Google or Google Workspace account
If you are having login issues, first identify which method you are using.
Not Receiving the Login Email?
If you are not receiving the magic link email, try these steps:
1. Check Your Spam/Junk Folder
The email might have been filtered. Look for an email from notifications@hypertask.ai
2. Corporate Email Filters
If you are using a work email, your company email security system might be blocking our emails. Ask your IT department to whitelist the following email address:
notifications@hypertask.ai
3. Wait a Few Minutes
Sometimes email delivery can be delayed. Wait 2-3 minutes before requesting another login link.
4. Double-Check Your Email Address
Make sure you entered the correct email address with no typos.
5. Try Google Login Instead
If email login continues to fail, you can use Google login as an alternative. Click "Sign in with Google" on the login page.
