Quick Board Switching with the Hypertasks Sidebar

Accessing the Board Sidebar

There are two ways to open the Board Sidebar for quick board switching:

1. Keyboard shortcut: Press CTRL + B (Windows) or CMD + B (Mac)

2. Mouse: Click the hamburger menu icon (☰) in the upper left corner of the screen

When opened, the sidebar will appear, and if using the keyboard shortcut, the cursor will automatically focus on the search bar.

Searching and Switching Boards

Once the sidebar is open:

1. Start typing the name of the board you want to switch to

2. The list will filter in real-time as you type

3. Press Enter or click on the board name to immediately switch to it

Tips for Efficient Board Switching

• Memorize the CTRL + B or CMD + B shortcut for quick keyboard access

• Remember the hamburger menu location for mouse users

• Use partial names when searching to find boards faster

• Keep your board names distinct to make searching and switching easier
